Are my files uploaded?

No. Metadata changes run entirely in your browser. Your file never leaves your device.

What are custom fields?

Extra entries in the PDF info dictionary. Many readers only show standard fields; custom names must be simple (e.g. MyField).

Why did creator or producer change before?

Opening and saving a PDF in some tools rewrites producer lines. Here you control the values you enter on save.

Password-protected PDFs?

Encrypted PDFs may fail to open. Decrypt first if you have the password.
