A full-page fill in your chosen color is drawn, then your original page is blended on top so white and light areas pick up that color while dark text and lines stay readable.

Will photos and colored graphics look the same?

Multiply blending shifts colors on non-white areas too. This tool works best on typical documents (white paper, dark text). For image-heavy PDFs, preview and use Adjust colors if needed.
